Microsoft is closing out October 2026 with a stacked content drop for subscribers, as [Xbox Wire](https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2026/10/20/xbox-game-pass-october-2026-wave-2/) confirmed the arrival of **Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade**, psychological horror hit **Mouthwashing**, and mystery adventure **Blake Manor** in Wave 2 of Xbox Game Pass.

## Highlighting the October 2026 Xbox Game Pass Additions

Following an early-October Wave 1 that featured heavyweights like *Battlefield 6* and *Keeper*, the late-October roster caters to RPG fans and Halloween horror enthusiasts across Xbox Series X|S, PC, and the cloud.

### Key Titles and Cloud Gaming Updates This Week

- **Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade:** Includes the full Midgar campaign plus the INTERmission episode starring Yuffie Kisaragi.
- **Halloween Indie Standouts:** Adds critically acclaimed horror narrative *Mouthwashing* and supernatural detective title *Blake Manor*.
- **$0 Free Cloud Gaming Tier:** As documented by [Shattered.io](https://shattered.io/xbox-cloud-gaming-free-tier-2026/), Microsoft's new $0 tier offers 1-hour cloud sessions without a paid Game Pass subscription.

> Pairing Square Enix blockbusters with a zero-dollar cloud entry tier and the $49.99 Nano Controller makes Xbox accessible on virtually every screen.

## How to Optimize Browser Streaming for Cloud Sessions

Players streaming via Safari on iOS 27 or Chrome on PC should connect over 5GHz Wi-Fi or 5G and pair a low-latency Bluetooth controller for optimal frame pacing.
