Google Pixel 11 Pro Review: Tensor G6 AI Smarts and 30-Hour Battery Life on Android 17

For Android enthusiasts who want a pocket-friendly flagship that puts artificial intelligence and computational photography first, Mashable's October 2026 smartphone roundup highlights Google's Tensor G6 flagship running Android 17 as the standout compact contender of the year.

Ergonomic 6.3-Inch Design Meets 30-Hour Battery Stamina

Weighing just 6.9 ounces (195g) with a 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED display (2,424 x 1,080 resolution), Google's latest handset is vastly easier to use one-handed than 6.9-inch phablets or 254g foldables, yet still delivers up to 30 hours of rated battery life.

Hardware Highlights and Camera Capabilities

• Versatile Triple Camera Setup: Combines a 48MP main wide sensor, 13MP ultrawide, and 10.8MP 5x optical telephoto lens with a 10.5MP selfie camera.
• Google Tensor G6 Chip: Purpose-built for low-latency on-device Gemini 4 tasks, call screening, and real-time voice translation.
• Distinctive 2026 Color Palette: Available in 256GB and 512GB storage tiers across Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus, and Obsidian finishes.

Google proves you don't need a massive two-handed brick to get a 5x optical periscope zoom and 30 hours of battery life in late 2026.

Android 17 Software Experience and Update Guarantee

Shipping with native Android 17, the device offers clean UI responsiveness, proactive scam call detection, and seven years of guaranteed OS and security patches.
